I am the Director of Development and Communications at [a local
non-profit]. We cover 4 counties and have 4 offices that serve the
needs of people with disabilities. As a non-profit, I have a limited
budget. Most Marketing, Design and Printing personnel view this as a
negative, but Marc works with me with whatever budget I have, and finds
innovative ways for me to realize my vision on paper without wasting my
valuable time and money.
Over the past month, Marc and I have worked on everything from
something as mundane as getting a banner cleaned for an event, to
having top of the line brochures created that captured our Brand
essence. All in all, we have worked on at least 6 things together, all
on crunch timing. Marc and his company must clone themselves, because
I'm just not sure how they do it all.
Not
only does Marc keep each and every deadline promise, but he also goes
above and beyond the call of duty, and stays in constant communication
with me on each project. When I discovered my 3,500 newsletters were
going to be arriving when I was on vacation, he offered to take them,
(out of his way), to the volunteers that would be doing the labeling.
You just don't find that kind of customer service in the world today.
Another perk is being able to receive and keep my files, for my own
internal printing, even if the pieces are created by someone else. You
get to keep what you pay for, a benefit virtually unheard of in
printing. Those are just a couple of the many examples I have of Marc
treating me like a partner, whose deadlines and materials are just as
important to him as they are to me, instead of a client.
Not only is Marc great with customer service and a "do whatever it
takes" attitude, but the rest of his staff and the graphic design firms
he works with are incredible as well. In the 3 years I have been in
non-profit work, and the 7 previous years in the Corporate World, I
have never worked with a more talented, congenial, and up front group
of people in the Marketing and Printing business.. They absolutely know
exactly what they are doing, and more importantly, got to the heart of
what I, as a customer, wanted.
I tell everyone to use Marc Laucks and Company if they want
printing and marketing needs done right the first time. Don't even
bother with anyone else.
